Crash analysis simulation is now very important in automotive industry to assess crashworthiness and safety. In order acquire reliable crash results, precise material behaviors at intermediate strain rates should be used as input data. To derive the stress-strain curves various rates, a large number of experiments are needed, which costly time consuming. The present study aims determining sheet metals from single dynamic experiment. A new type high-speed tensile tester for metal specimens was built tests were carried out. Full-field heterogeneous fields measured by digital image correlation technique using camera. load data acquired gauges attached elastic deformation region on specimen.
